Clear blue skies and light winds greeted the first group out at 7.10am but conditions deteriorated as the day went on with the last group finishing at 8.45pm in gloomy, chilly and very breezy conditions.
However, the feedback from everyone was that they thoroughly enjoyed their day and in particular praised the condition of the course which was, as usual, in great condition thanks to Brian Toall and his team.
Thanks must also go to George Inglis and his team of starters, David and Ailsa in the office, Iain, Mark, Lewis and John in the Professional shop and Johan, Gordon and Heather and David Cree and his team in the clubhouse.
Not surprisingly the majority of winning scores were produced in the morning, however, most of the winning scratch scores were from groups playing in the more difficult afternoon conditions.
