All social and golf competitions ( medals, strokes, fun and hole and hole) for the month of April are suspended.
In order to continue to provide as full a service as possible there are a number of temporary measures the Club are implementing:
Professional Shop – Iain will open shop whenever possible, he will also allow members to use his personal toilet facilities should this be necessary.
In order to maintain personal space between playing groups timings will be altered to gaps of 10 minutes per tee time. On the golf course, all putts should be made with the flag sticks in the hole.
The hole cups will be inverted & any putt hitting the cup will be deemed to have been holed. Bunker rakes will be taken off the course by the Greenstaff. Players should not use the ball washers. The Air Hoses will be disabled until further notice. It is also advisable not to shake hands and to keep a distance of 2 meters between players.
The trolley shed will be open but please note that buggies and pull carts will be unavailable for hire at this time.
Specialist Catering – A carry out service will be made available (times cannot be guaranteed). Food will be picked up from back kitchen door with cash payment made at that time. Card payment may be made in Professional shop using contactless card. No entry will be allowed into the Clubhouse building at any time.
Greenstaff will continue working on the golf course but courtesy must be shown at all times by respecting personal space and maintaining safe distance and allowing them to carry out their duties with their limited staffing numbers.
Office staff will provide a skeleton staffing but would ask that contact is made via email rather than by telephone.
We will continue to closely monitor the information and advice released by the Government and Public Health Scotland with regards to the spread and containment of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and advise as appropriate.
