After careful consideration and taking Government advice into account the Council have decided that the Clubhouse will close with effect from 6.30pm on Sunday 22 March 2020 until further notice. The position will continue to be reviewed on a month to month basis.
THE GOLF COURSE WILL REMAIN OPEN BUT AS THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO LOCKER ROOMS WE WOULD THEREFORE ASK THAT MEMBERS REMOVE CLUBS FROM LOCKERS BEFORE 6.00PM ON SUNDAY 22 MARCH.
In order to continue to provide as full a service as possible there are a number of temporary measures the Club are implementing:
Professional Shop – Iain will open shop whenever possible, he will also allow members to use his personal toilet facilities should this be necessary.
In order to maintain personal space between playing groups timings will be altered to gaps of 10 minutes per tee time.
Please note that buggies and pull carts will be unavailable for hire at this time.
Specialist Catering – A carry out service will be made available (times cannot be guaranteed). Food will be picked up from back kitchen door with cash payment made at that time. Card payment may be made in Professional shop using contactless card. No entry will be allowed into the Clubhouse building at any time.
Greenstaff will continue working on the golf course but courtesy must be shown at all times by respecting personal space and maintaining safe distance and allowing them to carry out their duties with their limited staffing numbers.
Office staff will provide a skeleton staffing but would ask that contact is made via email rather than by telephone.
We will continue to closely monitor the information and advice released by the Government and Public Health Scotland with regards to the spread and containment of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and advise as appropriate.
The council appreciate the understanding and support of all members at this extraordinary time and would ask that you continue to enjoy your golf at the Club and most importantly stay safe.
