The Senior team started their Interclub campaign on Tuesday at Duddingston where they were due to meet Bruntsfield GS, however as one of their players was held up in a Road Traffic situation the match was given to Liberton. The following day the team arrived to play Ratho Park who had been successful over Swanston in the 1st round.
Following some good play and a little hard luck the team lost in one match and were AS in the other. Senior Secretary/Team Manager George Inglis would like to thank our players, David Rennie, Brian O’Neil, Stephen Richardson, Neil Plenderleith and Dougie Russell for turning out over the two days and he looks for better luck next year.
We wish Ratho Park, Baberton, Craigmillar Park and Silverknowes every success for the remainder of the tournament.
