This year’s Annual Prizegiving will take place on Friday 9th November at 7.30pm.
A full list of our trophy winners is displayed within the clubhouse or you can click here to view the list.
Prizegiving evening is always a great opportunity to celebrate your achievement with family and friends. Even if you are not among the winners come along and enjoy the celebrations, it’s a great night.
We appreciate that some winners will not be able to attend the prizegiving. Should this be the case for yourself it would be of great benefit to the Club if you would notify the office as soon as possible that you will not be able to attend.
Prize Winners 2018
Kieran Cantley has topped off a fantastic year by finally being chosen to represent Scotland at the forthcoming Home Internationals in Conwy, Wales between,12-14 September 2018.
This is a fantastic achievement for Kieran who has demonstrated this year his abilities as a golfer at various tournaments and currently sits high in Scottish Golf’s order of merit.
Kieran can be rightly proud of his selection and is certainly the highlight of the year for him and his family. He is one of five new caps in what is a fairly experienced side led by playing Captain, Matt Clark (Kilmalcolm). He is also joined by local players Euan McIntosh (Turnhouse) and Stephen Roger (Peebles).
Liberton can also take some pride in his selection as the first player out of the Club to represent his Country.
In speaking to Kieran about his selection he stated “I am absolutely delighted and excited about being part of the Scottish Team, I hope that I can produce some of my best golf and help Scotland win the trophy.”
“Its going to be a busy week with travel down to Wales on the Sunday, practise on Monday & Tuesday and three days of play Wednesday to Friday”
“I’d like thank everyone who has helped me reach this stage of my career”
Anyone in the area on business or fancies a few days of supporting Kieran and the team should check the Scottish Golf website for travel and directional details for the course.
I am sure all members wish Kieran every success for the week and hope he finds himself in a successful winning team.

Kieran was taking part in the Grand Prix et Challenge, International De la Ville D’anglet et Chiberta Cup et Challenge Cup over the 5-8 July 2018. With an international field on show from France, Spain, England, Kieran, who was one of two Scots to take part, can be very proud for his performance and his second place finish.
With scores of 67,67,67 & 73 I think Kieran must feel this may have been an opportunity missed. Quoting him from his Twitter account ” Gutted not to have got the job done this week in France, just a few poor decisions in the last round cost me. Big Thanks to Scottish Golf for the experience, was a great week”
Congratulations in any case for a good second place and this can only bode well for him as the season progresses. Kieran is pictured here with the overall winner, Antoine Aubion of Biarritz (centre) and David Ravetto of RCF La Boulie who finished joint second with Kieran.
