An invitation is provided to all members to attend the Annual Prizegiving which takes place on Friday, 10 November 2017 at 7.30pm in the Clubhouse.
We would be grateful if members could check the lists attached to see if they have won a trophy or medal and attempt to make yourself available at the prizegiving night.
If you are unable to attend it would be helpful to let Ailsa or David know in the office to assist with the smooth running of the event on the night.

The Ladies Winter Stars got off to a flying start today with a great turn out and an interesting ‘Cross Country’ theme. A glorious day meant there was fun, laughter and also some good golf played. (Do watch out for the very slippy slope down the side of the fourth!) Well done to all those who won a prize and a very big thank you to Fiona, Ann and Jill …
As previously intimated to members the Club have now appointed a new Caterer. David Cree who runs Bankhouse Catering was the successful candidate following our recent recruitment exercise. David impressed the Council with his openness and new ideas of how he hopes to provide the membership with a good range and selection of food and also wishes to provide various events and evenings at the Club to enhance our culinary experience. Attached is a small introduction from David about himself and his team and also a photograph so everyone gets to know who he is.
The Club hope that all members will support David and his team which will hopefully be the start of a good working relationship for both Club and Caterer.
Bankhouse Catering Introduction
Congratulations to Scott Fraser and Keiran Cantley for their successes in the East of Scotland Alliance meeting at Royal Musselburgh on 18th October. The field of 90 players included 13 professionals and 3 trainee professionals.
Following solid rounds both players recorded winning scores in the Handicap and Scratch competitions.
Scott Fraser won the Handicap Prize along with the Andrew Oldcorn Trophy by recording a 72 less 4 handicap for a Net 68
Kieran Cantley recorded a scratch 68 and was required to share the prize with Lloyd Saltman after the two players couldn’t be separated through countback.
In the order of merit both players are very much in the hunt with Kieran lying 2nd in the scratch and 3rd in the handicap, with Scott sitting 2nd in the handicap section.
Good work lads and hope you keep it going throughout the season.
The ‘Pink Ball‘ Competition closed the season for the ladies. It was a windy affair…
Results: Winners – Marjorie Thomas, Alison Paterson, Jean Short
Runners up – Ada Crosbie, Moira Kinnear, Fiona Hume
Well done girls, the prizes will be presented at the ladies dinner in December.
Many thanks to George Inglis for the lovely cheese and biscuits….
